THE ANIMALS WE CARE FOR
This is what it is all about. Returning the injured animal back into it's natural environment, in a healthy state so as to be able to continue it's life in the wild. The release of a rehabilitated animal can be very rewarding but there is much to do before that happens. The animal may come in with horrific injuries, be foul smelling and dirty. There is nursing, cleaning cages, fresh food and clean water. Being bitten and sometimes scratched are also part of the daily duties. We are on call to these animals 24 hours a day. Baby joeys and birds need around the clock monitoring. So being able to release an animal in your care back into the wild is very rewarding indeed.
